Scandimania opens café in Stamford

It's been a long time coming for Scandimania owners Josh and Julia with incredible amounts of hard work and dedication for the young couple who have two young children Freya (3) and Freddie (1), but the wait is over and Scandimania newest coffee house in Stamford is now open and awaiting your arrival.

I popped to Stamford to see the café for myself over the weekend, and it's fair to say that Julia and Josh have done it again in creating a little bit of Sweden for us to enjoy whilst we sip one of the best local offerings of coffee and indulge in home vegan delights made by Julia and friends.

The Stamford coffee house is a lot larger than then the original café in Uppingham, with more seating and space for even a little Scandi shop of food and drink which you can buy to take home or as a gift for friends and family or a souvenir for those visiting the area on their travels.

The building itself is full of stunning features with a tiled step entrance and shared courtyard. Julia has even brought in bits of her Swedish heritage with artwork created by her brother and mother which are on show for customers to enjoy which were created especially for the launch of Scandimania Stamford.

Julia and Josh have also supported local businesses in the launch by using local a graphic designer (Rutland Creative) and printers (Goldmarks) to produce the new menu for the Stamford coffee house which featured some new bits for you enjoy. Including a 'Salad of the Week', new additions like hazelnuts, some changes to the toasties and open toast options, açai bowls on the go and much more - but you'll have to pop in and see the rest for yourself.

I wish Julia and Josh all the success in their expansion to their scandi café empire and I think that it'll be a huge hit and a fantastic addition Stamford's High Street and hopefully, if you're reading this and have yet to pop in, you'll be doing so very soon!
